Weekly Photo Challenge: The Hard Side of Homeschooling

You would think that I share enough pictures, right? Maybe but who can pass up a good photo challenge. :)

This week's challenge...The Hard Side of Homeschooling

The hard side? There is a hard side? Ha! Totally kidding.

The hardest part of homeschooling for me is getting it all done! Usually the table looks like this far into the evening. Most nights, the kids are scrambling to clean up their messes so we can set the table for dinner.

Along the same lines...HOUSEWORK!

As long as the house is not filthy, I have to be content. As long as it is presentable. It is impossible (for me at least) to do it all. Usually the laundry looks something like this. My motto: At least the clothes are CLEAN.

I used to stress about it but my kids are only kids once. They will remember that mom played, laughed and school was FUN! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will not come to me and say "Mom, why did I never have socks put away in my drawer"! Haha!

I also have a very understanding husband. He tells me often that he doesn't know how I do it all. Then I remind him that I DON'T! His only requirement is that the kids feel loved, school gets done and he has clean underwear. I got that!

Thanks so much for joining in. My hard side is EXACTLY the same. My house ... is HORRIBLE! :/ blah. I need to learn how to simplify things around here.

Great photos. :)

Now I don't feel so bad. We straighten up several times a day, but ten kids can do A LOT of damage in just a few minutes.

love this... my clean clothes end up in piles (mountians?) on the floor in my bedroom... lol! Literally, what is the point to folding and putting them away when they'll be taken out of the drawer within a day or so anyway..? ;)

I am right there with ya! My house is usually on the verge of chaos and sometimes I feel like I will never get the laundry/spring cleaning/whatever caught up. But we manage somehow!
