Random 5 on Friday ~ April 26th

Hello! I'm so happy that it is Friday. Now that Spring is here, Fridays make me unbelievably happy! I get to spend the weekend with my wonderful husband and we spend most of the time outside. It doesn't get much better than that. :)

This week, I am just going to give 5 quick facts. It is only 8:30 in the morning and I am already juggling way too many things. We have kittens being born, videos being made, errands to run, food to be cooked, school to be done, love to be given.

1. I have never been to the ocean. Ok....once. Basically, I got to wave as we drove by.

2. I would love to move to Montana. Have 8 kids. Sing with my big family on the porch of my horse ranch.

3. Instead I live in Ohio. Have 4 (amazing) kids. (Praying for more!) I can't sing and I have only been on a horse once which didn't count because I didn't even get to ride it.

4. I decided to start running again. Wish me luck!

5. I made myself a Home Management Binder this week. Do you have one? I would love to hear about it.

Love the pictures of all of the outdoor things that you have been doing lately and your son cutting the grass. :)
I do have a management binder too. I have had it for a few years. I find I don't use it near as much as I did in the beginning but it is there as a reference. I keep recipes in it now, financial things, schedules, phone and address contacts and monthly, yearly household chores , Christmas information, holidays and birthday. I have a separate binder for church activities .As I said I use it more as a reference. Most of the dailies I place on a clipboard because I find it easier to manage than the clumpy 3 ring binder notebook. I might pull a recipe from the binder and place it on the clipboard for that days use. I keep daily schedules on it and my to do list. It just work nicer for me. :)

Good luck with the running - I try to do 2 miles on the treadmill every day (more of a fast walk though) My goal is to run (or fast walk lol) a 5K!

Small world, I'm in Ohio too :) I just did my first 5K last weekend and it was great - I walked it, running isn't good on knees LOL especially mine. Can't wait for my next walk next month and I'm mulling over which to do in June. Enjoyed your post and I'm linked up under Growing For Christ.

Good luck with your running goal. I have always had problems with running/jogging, even back in high school I couldn't run around the gym without having problems breathing. I haven't tried adding jogging to my walks for quite a while, but when I did I could only do 1 minute at a time. I have got to get in shape.
I need to work on a home management binder. We used a book in bible study called Large Family Logistics and I have got to go through it again and try to get organized.
Sorry I forgot to link up the last couple of weeks. It completely slipped my mind.

I have a much neglected, haven't used in ages home management binder. I have recently started trying to use Evernote as my electronic brain. My home management binder was so outdated so instead of updating it I'm trying to start fresh with Evernote. I do not get to the Ocean nearly as often as I would like which is really tragic considering we live 45 minutes from the Sound or 2 hours from the ocean proper.
