Just us...Summer 2012

I try to do family pictures a few times a year, birthday pictures and of course, every day pictures. It is ALWAYS my intention to do couple pictures of Brian and I but for some reason or another it never happens.

So the other day I planned it. Then I got frustrated. I should have laid out clothes instead of trying to find something right before we took pictures. I said forget it and just figured we could do it another day. Can you see why we never actually got any before?!

Brian, from the goodness of his heart (and not wanting to have a cranky wife)....the man that will not even let me ask him if he likes what I am wearing, stays clear of my closet at all costs and has boycotted the mall.....walked over to my closet and picked out what he wanted me to wear! Gotta love that. ;)

We took the pictures in 2 locations. Around our house and down at the creek.

One thing I learned.....BUY A REMOTE! It is way too difficult to run back and forth to click the button and run back before the timer runs out. I'm sure we were a sight. ;)
I have Photoshop to adjust colors and whatnot but I don't ever use it. If I had more time on my hands I would love to. For now, I just use Picasa.

If you have ever watched Days Of Our Lives, does Brian not get the John Black impersonation right on the money or what!?
Ok, this picture cracks me up. Brian actually asked me if I was going to put this on here. Hehee.....

We were going for a carrying me over the threshold kind of pose. Which none turned out, by the way. Brian was trying to see where he needed to focus the camera. Ha!
I am usually laughing when I go through pictures because I have more like this than serious ones!

"Sweet Nothings, Sweet Nothings, Sweet Nothings...."

After 14 years, he can still make me laugh.
I mentioned that we couldn't see his tattoo in any of the pictures. Big mistake.

Brian and I have been married for 14 years. We have hit so many bumps in the road. Too many to even count. I can honestly say from the bottom of my heart that God has been good to us. Without Him there is no way we would be were we are at today.

I love you, Brian Gene. Here's to many more.

You captured some great pictures, and I wouldn't have guessed you were running to be in them after setting the camera without you sharing that. It looks like you both had fun with these. :)

I'm actually shocked you were using a timer and running!  You did a great job setting these up and the backdrops are just perfect.

These are beautiful! I never would have known you were using a timer and running. My hubby and I have tried that . . . they sure didn't turn out like these! ;)

Beautiful pictures, and looks like a lot of fun taking them too.  Lots more personality than having someone who doesn't know you make you pose.
